Rent just server space
and / or
Rent a sub domain
Renting is just what it sounds like. This option rents space on our
server. You can rent space with your own domain, you can rent space
along with renting a sub domain, or you can just rent space and access it by
means of a directory.
The method used for domain resolution of the renting option is at the
discretion of NextHwy.com, and is part
of the pricing decision.
Some
examples are Domain Pointing, where the Public DNS is actually pointed to a
space within the NextHwy.com server
(feel this example by linking to
www.acl985.com), this is the most native, but not the only
alternative.
An other method is to point your domain to the main server and have
it run time resolved by our PHP code to do an immediate re-direct (www.ControlBigBro.org
is an example of this method).
Yet another possibility is to resolve the sub domain directly to the
working space, by means of the local host DNS (try
info.NextHwy.com to feel this).
And another is to resolve a subdomain into native space, which would be tagable by your local code as sub page entry (try 4sale.nexthwy.com and its sub page 4sale.nexthwy.com/224-305-3105/ which is broken on purpose and detectable)
And finally, a direct access to the server space directory such as
www.NextHwy.com/4sale
